A Life Too Taxing

Here I am complaining about life.

The By Election for Punggol East has ended and the Worker's Party have won and taken the area.

Usually I'm not very interested in all these because I'm staying in an area that I do not have to vote for anything. But this time round the rally from the Workers Party really caught my attention.

People like LTK, DanGoh, DesLim talk about things happening around us and what the gahmen have done for us which does make alot of sense.

And from watching all these rallys, I had alot of thoughts in my mind.

I'm gonna hit 30yrs old this year and I do have to pay attention and know whats happening in my country as anything that is happening will definitely affect my life here either directly or indirectly.

The high rising prices of flats is crazy. A 3-rm flat now here can easily cost us 360k to 400k depending on the popularity of the area.

We're talking about $300 thousand here for a 3-room flat. For an average working person like me who earns like $2000 before the deduction of CPF will have to pay like 16yrs for this house if I splash all my salary in.

Normally housing loans here will allow u to drag for 30 years. Which means if I get to buy a house now I will have to be in debt for the next 30 years here. And I would be 60 yrs old by then.

And the gahmen here encourages us to give birth to babies to add the local population to the country.

Easier said than done.

To them of course its not a problem. Their monthly salary most of them us equivalent to my one year salary. Of course its easy for them to say.

For us the average working salary in this society, how are we gonna afford all these ! We would have to slog our lives for it. Paying for housing loans, paying for medical bills for the wife and kid and the daily expenses.

As chinese always say, 多一张嘴，多一份开销.

But when the gahmen suggest all these and when we dun do it. We get all the blame and say our country is not populated enough, so they need to bring in foreign talents.

Oh wow, this action us definitely not helping us in anyway we need. We're already staying in a competitive country which the prices of everything is going ip except our salary. And now here you guys here are bringing in people from other places to snatch from us.

Please teach us how do you want us to survive in our own country and not complaining about all the things you guys have done.

Yes, you guys said that all these things done is for the future of the country but seriously, I doubt I would be able to survive till the day arrive.

Thanks for everything, I love my country, but the country has become a country that is handled by people who doesn't know the needs and wants of the people who wants to support the country they deserve.

Welcome to 2013

Its been a long time since I've updated this blog of mine.

I'm like so lazy in doing everything nowadays. I dun even feel like playing SRWOG on my PS3 which is a game that I've waited for years for it to be released on the PS3.

The year 2012 is just like a normal year for me, nothing special and spectular happened.

The significant things that happened in 2012 is having 2 groups of friends that entertained me for the large part of the boring year of 2012.

One of the group is the meat eating group which consists of Nicholas, Matthew, Galvin, Fei and Winston. We always have tons of bullshit to talk about. Food, tous, girls, boobs and gossip. We also combined together to expose some god damm mother fucking fraud. Its a fun group to be in, but guys, let us all have a more healthier life please.

The other group are the bunch of fun guys thats I've known in this few years that I've worked in Gamescore. All the gamers that behaves like normal human beings. The grouo of CKM, Shawn, Simon, Kelvin, Thimo and Big Ben.

Sometimes I'm so amazed that how humans with common topics can blend so well together. This group of ppl basically talks about everything under the sun.

Games, movies, music, cars, girls, gahmen, food. U name it, we talk about it.

But no matter how good all of them are, there's always bound to have some conflicts between everybody. Sometimes its because all of us are so comfortable with each other that we do not control the limits of our jokes towards each other.

One of us may find it ok, but maybe the other will find it offending after repeated jokes. Everybody's temper limit is different, but I do believe friends towards each other should be forgiving.

Good friends are hard to come by, not to say a group of friends that have the same interest in most of the things.

Its already the mid january of 2013. Wishing everybody a great nice smooth year ahead !
