Its been a month since I've updated this blog of mine again.

It has been a busy period for me.

Beginning of the month I went to Japan with my frenz for a holiday which lasted for about 8 days. I went from the 5th of March to 13th of March, and on the 14th of March I was the brother of my fren's wedding and today I'm gonna talk about my fren's wedding !

14th March 2016

The big day of Marcus and Kathleen

Early morning we reached Marcus's house at about 630am for preparation of the morning ceremony and gatecrashing.

Usually for the brothers there's nothing much to prepare as we gatecrash the bride's side so actually only they need to prepare the things that they can Tekan us.

At around 7am we got ready to depart to the bride's home ! TIME FOR ADVENTURE !

When we reached the bride's house, the gatecrashing challenges aren't that difficult from them, perhaps because we are adults and of course we dun want to have any bad feelings on this happy day.

After all the gatecrashing, now its the time that is something only the groom can do, nobody is able to help him. And that is to make the bride open the door for him to go in and hold her hand.

After finishing from the bride's side, we need to go back to Marcus's side for all the tea ceremony to the elders.

And here comes the most important time. We all are assigned work and we have to do it and not have any mistakes. Although I got nothing much to do also.

Of course always must have time to take selfies.

After that the wedding dinner starts and we have to standby our roles.

It was a long and happy night which although all of us are busy but we enjoyed the night

I'm back again !

Yesterday I attended the Capitamall Retailer CNY Dinner with my frenz which is held at Raffles Conventiin Centre.

I have to say that I'm very disappointed with this dinner.

For the good points first, the place is very nicely decorated and the place is big so that the people who attended do not have to cramp around.

The emcee for the night is Pornsak, which was quite entertaining and funny.

The lion dance is also quite nice and entertaining which i feel they did a great job.

Now to the bad.

I was expected some awesome food since its capitamall, but i was totally wrong !

Its a buffet alright, but the food is like Fried Rice, Brocolli with mushroom,, Asam Fish, Roast Chicken and Lor Duck. The better dishes are like Oyster Egg, Chicken Rice and Prata.

Yes, u read it correctly, PRATA !

Wtf man seriously ! This is the kind of food that Capitamall can offer !?!?!?!

This is so disappointing from them.

And they say the table got some Qr code and u can redeem 1888 Starpoints ! Yes, u read it correctly again. 1888 Starpoints !

5000 Starpoints to exchange $5 worth of capitamall vouchers. So u know how much worth of capitamall vouchers you can exchange with 1888 starpoints.

WOW !

Den after that they gave all the attendees a bingo card because they are having a bingo game which gives out loads of prizes ! By wow u should understand how fucked up the prizes are already.

It's been like one month since I've updated, kinda lazy to update also coz everytime like I go to some place and something happens, I will tell myself that tonight I will write it down, but everytime when I logged in, I duno how to put them in words. And my limited english vocab doesn't help also.

Yup, its the time of the year for chinese again.

ITS THE CHINESE NEW YEAR ! ~ ! ~ ! ~ !

Its the time which people of different ages have different feeling.

To the kids, its the time they can have their holiday and can have extra money due to the elderly and the seniors giving them angbao.

For people of my age, its just another day that I do not have to work and I can just rest.

For the married and the elderly, its gonna be a hole in the pocket because they need to give angbaos to the kids.

This year the first day of the Chinese New Year is abit different as usually all the relatives from my father side they will come over to my house but this year one of my cousin he moved house so he take this chance to have a house warming plus a chinese new year celebration.

As usual, we had the usual mahjong session, the kids watches tv and plays with their tablet and I will just walk around doing nothing. And of course having the usual lunch and dinner and the lou hei.

And today the 2nd day of Chinese New Year, its also a change as usually the relatives of my mom's side will come over to my house, but this time round they decide that we will go over to my uncle's house instead.

Due to my mom and me arriving late, we only sat down for awhile and we left.

I'm back again !

Just the new year have started and everything I feel has been going wrong for me.

Health has been getting bad as I've fallen sick today with fever, sorethroat and cough. Not to say the frequent headaches and feeling giddy nowadays also.

I really duno what is happening to me.

Becoming 33 years old is somehow scary to me coz its an age that I have a risk of dying due to my diabetes which this year is the so called Magical 20th year.

Diabetic patients usually will have complications around the 18th year once diagnosed and during the 18th year, I had chestpains and after going to the doctor, I was diagnosed with a leaking heart valve which causes pain to my heart and chest due to the backflowing of blood to the heart.

And now this year is my 20th year.

Only at the beginning of the year only and I've fallen sick and experienced much heartpain more den like the total of last year.

These few days I keep having so much pain in my chest that I kept sleeping and taking painkillers for my heart which is a bad thing because we're not supposed to take so much painkillers in our lives as it harms the liver.

Painkillers are something that we shouldn't keep taking as it tells our brain that the area is not having pain anymore or the pain has subsided but actually pain is still being inflicted to the area just that we don't feel any pain to it but the damage is still being dealt without us knowing.

And I know I shouldn't take so much painkillers but sometimes the pain is just unbearable, and it happens to the heart and not other places.

Imagine you having a headache and its already so painful that you have to take painkillers, imagine having the same amount of pain on your chest, on your heart.

Sometimes I feel that I already have so much illnesses already, why are you giving me so much more defects to my body.

I'm not blaming anybody. It's my body, its my responsibility to take care of myself and I know for the past 20 years I'm totally not doing any part to that. I am not even taking care of my body.

But somehow I feels everything is too late now, all the damage has been done already.

Sad, depressed, giving up.

And I am back again ! And wow ! Its the year 2016 !

My last day of 2015 was working nothing in the office, there is practically nothing to do there. And so I headed home at around 3pm as its an official halfday at my workplace so I just went home and have a rest.

At night I met up with my frenz for dinner and we were thinking where to go after that, and Marcus suggest that we go to Clarke Quay as he had a free one night staycation from Liang Court, Somerset Residence and so we went !

The view from the door was quite good, the room is very well done. Its the kind of room that I had in mind if I am going to stay alone.

It has a queen size bed and which there's a small table at the side with an alarm clock which is actually quite loud.

On the other side, there's a table which I feel is for dining and work purposes.

The kitchen at the other side is also quite well renovated and equipped.

There's the most important thing, the fridge. And of course there are utensils like spoons, forks, chopsticks, bowls and plates. Its also equipped with an induction cooker which you can cook a meal for urself if you are in the mood as pots are provided.

The toilet is a very typical hotel-like toilet which comes with a bathtub.

The toilet is also very well renovated and nice. But its the typical hotel toilet like what I've said earlier.

After that we had some chitchat, watching tv and drinking beer just to wait for the countdown and the fireworks.

One thing I do not like is the position of the TV though, its too far away from the bed which you cannot lie on the bed and watch tv. You must sit at the table area den its possible to watch the tv.

After that we waited till 12am and from the window we are able to see the fireworks from MBS as we're on the 25th floor.

I have to say the fireworks are just quite normal but I feel alot of money is spent. LOL !

Anyway after that at around 1am we decided to leave the couple there and go home as we're feeling tired also.

Its been more den a month since I've updated.

Nothing much to update about lately though, all the normal happenings in life. But there's one thing my frenz and me have been discussing lately though.

We have been discussing about the downfall of the local retail scene in singapore. More and more retail shops have been closing down shop by shop, branches by branches.

Alot of the retail shops are unable to sustain the high rental prices of the local shopping centres. As whem location gets more popular, the rental increases as the landlords assume that the retail shops have high revenues and increases the rental. When this happens, the shops are unable to sustain and they close down.

Whenever this happens, the landlord will just say, " its ok, they dun renew, there will be someone that will take up this shop space. "

When they have this mentality, its gonna be a goner for them. They always assume that a popular spot will always be wanted by retail stores and they will just increase the rental for it. What if nobody wants to take up that spot ? They will be left with empty shops which will be a bad impression to people who wanna take up that shop space as people will feel surely there's something wrong with that spot.

Landlords always do not realise all the things they are doing is a double-edged sword. They will just alwayz think a good spot will get them a high rental but they always didn't realise what they are doing is just killing themselves and killing the retail scene in Singapore.

Yes, of course I understand the owner of the shopping mall or the company ghat owns the shopping mall will wanna be able to break even the purchase of the shopping centre so they will constantly increase the rental of the shops inside. But what they did not think of is if there is no one taking up the shop space, they will take an even longer time to break even.

When rental increases, the shops will have to sell their items at a higher price as they need to sustain their upkeep, which turns shoppers off as the things are getting too expensive.

Now we're living in the world of technology which the internet plays a very big part of our lives.

Now its like 90% of the stuffs retailers sell, can be found on the internet.

Amazon, Playasia, Taobao, Qoo10.

All these websites sell tons of items. So many that you may need a few hours to just browse through all the items listed in their websites. And of course, most of the items are sold at a lower price that you can find in any retail shops here. Of course the con is that you won't be able to get the item immediately as compared to getting from a retail store. But of course if you are willing to wait for like 2 to 3 weeks for the item to be shipped over to your doorstep, u will surely have saved urself quite abit of money.

I myself also frequently buy items online from website. I always buy kpop jpop albums from websites as there are very limited audioCD stores here in Singapore. Even the biggest audioCD store, HMV, have closed its last branch here.

Its so difficult to sustain that HMV have to sell albums so expensive that in the end nobody buys from them and buy online, that includes me.

I'll just give an example.

Few months ago, I was looking for Apink's new mini album and so I happened to be nearby HMV and so I decided to go in and have a look and I saw the album that I wanted to buy.

$37.90.

Holy fuck ! $37.90 ! Thats like so expensive !

So after that, I decided to go to my regular online store website and have a look at how much they were selling.

USD$10.90

OMG, look at the difference ! Even with added shipping charges of the maximum of USD10 which adds up to USD20.90. After all the conversion, it will end up at around SGD30 which is $7.90 cheaper den what HMV is selling and it will be delivered to my letterbox or doorstep, which saves me so much trouble.

With all these things happening in the online world and landlords giving us skyhigh rental prices, how are the retail shops gonna survive in this world.

One less retail shop means less jobs for people which increases the unemployment rate of Singapore.

Gahmen and landlords, pleaae do spare a thought more for your own countrymen and help your own people, and stop helping " outsiders " please !

Currently Watching - Sassy Go Go

Currently I'm watching this drama call Sassy Go Go, acted by my favourite Jung Eun Ji from Apink, thats why I'm watching this drama.

Its a drama about high school, which Kang Yeon Doo has got in but with poor results.

I'm not gonna really talk about the story of the drama but my views about school and studies about the current generation.

Everytime I watch korean dramas about high schools, there are always a few common problems that happens in school. Friendship, betrayal, school bullying and pressure.

Of course when we're schooling, we'll definitely have friends that will be with us throughout our school life as they are the people whom we see most of the time except our parents. Some may see their classmates more than they see their parents as some of the schools are boarding schools which requires you to stay in the school hostels and only allowed to go home during the weekends.

If you stay in a boarding school, its a sure thing u will develop stronger bonds between classmates as you do everything together, from waking up to attending classes to sleep and its a daily cycle.

And of course there are always alot of different groups of friends in the class.

From experience myself, I am guilty of the kind that always only mix around with the people around me, those that are not around me, some I do not even talk to them during my few years in school, and I'm sure it happens to alot of us also as we do not mix around with the whole class. Those that I do not mix around with, surely also do have a group of their own which consists of their good friends.

But there will always be the odd one or two which are the lone rangers in the class that doesn't mix around and have a hostile attitude. No offence to them, mostly all these are the ones that are always in the top of the class, as they feel that mixing around with people in the class doesn't benefit their school life, which they only know about studying.

But sometimes we do not understand the amount of pressure they are having. It may not be a choice that they want to study this hard and not mix around. Sometimes they may be from a reputable family or their siblings are all highflyers which because of this, they have a very heavy burden on their shoulders.

They have the pressure to stay on top of the class and maintaining that position.

They have enormous pressure from their parents which they must always follow and once they drop position, the punishment given by their parents may be something we are unable to expect. The pressure to always stay at the top.

Some of them their pressure is even higher as they are always the 2nd in position. No matter how hard they do and put in effort, they are always unable to overtake the 1st of the class. The 2nd position surely have the biggest pressure by their parents, teachers and friends as they will always have expectation that one day they will overtake and become the 1st, but they do not know about the pressure they have to face.

So I believe in this generation, kids are having alot more pressure compared to us last time so thats why alot of them becomes keyboard warriors so that they can vent their fustrations online.

Of course I do not agree with all these actions, so I do hope the younger generation should take up more sports so that they can mix with alot of people and have more friends which means more people will lend a listening ear to you when you face problems.

Yesterday I went to watch the taiwan movie, " Our Times " ( 我的少女時代 ) with my frenz as we heard so many good reviews about this movie when it was shown in Taiwan.

This movie is soooo good ! ~ !

The story talks about a girl, which is just a normal student in the school, who likes the schoolgrass ( which means the most popular boy ) of the school. And there is the most notorious boy of the school who likes the school belle ( which means the most popular girl ) of the school.

Because of these reasons, the boy and the girl tagteamed to try to wanna break them up but yes, everybody guessed correctly. The two of them actually fell in love with each other.

I find this movie is so nice as it has a very nice pace which contains laughter, sadness and touching scenes.

It really shows alot of things that really happens during my school times which is around the 90s period. Even the characters shown in the movie is so like my school times.

For every school, there is always the most popular boy, the most popular girl, the most notorious boy and of course the most normal plain jane. And of course usually the two most popular are always like the couple of the school and the notorious one is also of course the most famous person of the school due to all the wrong reasons.

When watching this show, every part of the show brings back memories of my school days, doesn't matter whether it happens to me or not as the things that didn't happen to me somehow will happen to the friends around me which also let me get to experience the ups and downs of my friends.

And of course, a very good movie surely comes with a very good song and OST

The song from Hebe Tian is already a super nice song as the lyrics are very full of memories.

But after watching the movie, the feeling of the song becomes very different as its talking about the feelings of the main character which is the plain jane. And after watching the show, I feel the lyrics are so sad that it's saying that once the girl realises everything, but everything is already too late.

And of course with a great song comes with great quotes from the characters in the show. I think the most famous quote that the main character said is , 

女生说没事，就是有事； 女生说没关係，就是有关係！

Hahaha, this sentence is so so true !

Anyway it's a very highly recommended movie from me. It's a comedy with romance with sadness. It's will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you think back of all the things that happened in your life.

Today is truly a boring sunday at work, as reluctantly as I want to come to work as its the SF5 beta today with all the characters usable except for Zangief and Laura, I should still be responsible for my work and put in my very best, but its really too damm boring already.

This weekend is the 2nd beta for Street Fighter 5. As all my frenz know me, I'm a bery huge fan of foghting games and fighting game music. And Street Fighter 5 is like the next biggest fighting game, of course I am excited !

People will ask why do I like fighting games. The general people who doesn't play fighting games frequently will feel that fighting games are just simple, its just to KO the opponent.

Yes, KOing the opponent is of course the main objective of the game, but its not as simple as u think.

Fighting games, in my opinion, requires a very high level of reading your opponent and mindgames, coz within a specific time range, u need to inflict damage on his character in order to get the win.

Every second, every moment is a very important thing. Just maybe a slight mistake will cost you your game, which we always call it a comeback.

And of course, when I talk about mindgames, its like how u inject what u are gonna do to ur opponent so that they will try to guess and predict what you are gonna do, but instead u do something else and which in turn u can deal them damage and fucked their thinking up.

Let me just give a very simple example of what you can do.

When I knock you down with a throw, you'll be on the ground and when you're about to wake up, u see me walk back and walk towards you, at this time, there are a couple of things I can do. As I use my main character as Yang, I will state the possibilities I will do.

1. I can put u in pressure by doing a few light punches on u which if you block, i can apply the pressure to make you block and push you nearer to the corner. If you get hit, I can just extend and apply a combo on you.

2. I can just walk up and do a throw on u, which knocks you down again and this will start the guessing wake up game again as I can do the same thing again.

3. Maybe you will guess that I will do a throw so that you will do a tech-throw on me but instead I do a DP on u which you will get hit or I can do a stand mp on you which will mostly result in a counter-hit which will allow me to do a combo on you, WHICH will result in you getting knocked down, WHICH will put u in the same situation AGAIN .

4. I can proceed to do a meaty overhead attack which is safe on block so that even if you blocked it, nothing will happen to me. But if you got hit by the meaty overhead, I will be able to extend it by doing a combo on u, WHICH in the end, you got it correct, put you into yet, the same wakeup guessing game situation again.

Look, this is just a normal senario of your character being knocked down by my combo, but the followup of what I'm going do is so hard to be predicted and this is just a basic gameplan or what we call "setup" of the situation.

Just because of a knocked down attack can lead to so many situations, which to get out of it, sometimes will require luck, skill, judgement and decision making to get out of the situation.

Thats why I like fighting games, so simple yet so complicated

Back here to update as I'm very bored at work now.

Life of working everyday is really so boring.

Life has been quite down for me lately. Series of bad things is happening on me.

Just like on last monday, on the 12th, I went to A&E in the afternoon.

I was experiencing chestpains, severe shortage of breath and I was feeling weak and giddy.

Deciding not to take any chances, I went to the A&E as all these symptoms are symptoms of heart attack, so I felt going to the A&E department would be the best choice at that moment.

But at that time, duno what is going through my mind, I still decided to walk to the A&E department from my house which is like a 30min walk.

When I reached the A&E department, I was turned off by the amount of people there and the long waiting time. But as I am here due to chestpains, they put me as a more important case and I only waited like 1hr. YES, 1hr.

After that when you are being called and they are taking ur blood pressure, there is a very big notice in front of you which says $115 NETT.

Yes, a visit to the A&E department will cost u a fucking $115 regardless of what illness or what fuck you are experiencing at the moment. And when u are there, you will definitely be amazed by the fucking amount of people there which makes the waiting time shows 540mins.

YES ! 540mins which is 9hrs !

For a place for emergency, waiting time of 9hrs is crazy.

After that I was asked to lie down and they did some tests for me, like taking the xray for my chest, bloodtests and ECG.

After that, they just ask me to rest which means more waiting.

After like a few more hours, they told me that after so many hours, if there is nothing wrong with me, it means I wun be getting a heart attack already.

After that they gave me an appointment for National Heart Centre for a followup checkup which is just like a few days later instead of like a few months later.

Anyway, I'm too lazy to write already. Guess I'll update more tml when I'm at work again.

Just watched Boruto : Naruto The Movie with some of my frenz.

It has been such long years.

When I first got in contact with Naruto, it was like in the year 2002 or 2003 when its being shown on cabletv here but its being dubbed in chinese.

The first episode I watched is when team7 was fighting Zabuza which Naruto and Sasuke tagged team and Naruto used his Kagebunshin to save Kakashi from the water prison jutsu.

At that time, Naruto is just a small, immatured kid who has the dream to become Hokage of his village. But when u see him, its impossible to believe that he is a ninja as he wears bright orange as his uniform and he is so loud that he is never able gonna stealth at his opponents or enemies.

But everybody knows he is gonna be the Hokage because the series is named after him, Uzumaki Naruto.

After like more den 10yrs, I think it should be 15yrs, the series finally ended with him becoming the Hokage of Konoha and married to Hyuuga Hinata and having 2 kids.

And now having looked back on the series, it actually is a very nice series. It talks so much about the human life.

Naruto was born as an orphan. His parents sacrificed themselves to save the village from destruction from the 9-tailed beast which after that, they sealed it inside Naruro's body.

Because of this, he has no parents to bring him up, hated by the whole village which he doesn't know the reason why, which directly caused him to have no friends, and also no family.

All of these reasons made him a very disliked person in the village as he'll pull pranks at people which makes people dislike him more. But all of his actions is only for one purpose, just to get attention from people.

After that, he was assigned to a team of their leader Kakashi, teammates Sasuke and Sakura, which are considered his first few frenz.

Slowly the story progresses and which he will know more about his childhood, his parents and why the village dislikes him.

His route to growing up is actually a very well-planned and taken care of by the 3rd Hokage. His first teacher, Kakashi is the disciple of his father, the 4th Hokage. His 2nd teacher is one of the legendary ninja, Jiraiya, which is the teacher of his dad, the 4th Hokage and which is the disciple of the 3rd Hokage.

His life of growing up is planned in this way so that the people who are teaching him is supposed to be looking after him because of the 9-tailed beast inside him, which in future will become his good friend.

After that during the invasion of Akatsuki, he was the only one who is strong enough to face them after all the teachings from all the people that he met. He managed to persuade Nagato, the leader of Akatsuki to revive everybody because Nagato feels Naruto is the one he can depend on to save the world and he is the chosen one in this world as Jiraiya said before that he is the saviour of the world.

When he got back to the village, he was welcomed by the whole village as the saviour of the world, recognised and approve by everybody, which is something that he wanted since young.

As fhe stiry slowly progresses, he becomes stronger and stronger until the Great Ninja War, which with the help of the returning Sasuke, they managed to defeat fhe mighty Uchiha Madara and saved everybody.

If has been a long 15yrs and I do have to say which this series is really one of the nicest one that I've followed.

Recommeneded to everybody but its time consuming though.

Time flies so fast, we're already in October of the year 2015.

So much thinking in my mind, so many things running through.

Already at the age of 32 yrs old, I realise I'm just a person living on this earth, just another somebody that has no contribution to this world.

During this year, I got to know more friends, went to Japan twice in the space of 3 months. Both are happy and enjoyable trips with 2 different groups of people. I'm happy to be able to go overseas with these 2 groups of people as they are nice and understanding to my medical condition and is constantly taking care of me throughout the trip.

I'm a very troublesome person to go overseas with due to my medical condition which I'll need to frequent the toilet very often, as often as once or twice per hour, which alot of times affected our schedule to places and cause us to must rush here and there, especially a country like Japan which everything happens very ON TIME.

I feel very fortunate that I have alot of friends that are always very concerned and taking care of me as I've a very weak and sickly body and everybody always helping me around.

I do agree that my life is being blessed by alot of people but having a sickly body doesn't really help.

Feeling so sickly nowadays make me constantly feel how long do I still get to live. Do I still get to do the things I like. Will I be able to go to countries like Japan or Korea again ? Do I get to play Street Fighter 5 for a few more years ? Do I get to see my friends all getting married one by one ? Do I get to see my favourite football club Leeds United promoted to the Premier League and AC Milan clinching yet another Scudetto for themselves ?

My mind is always constantly having all these questions in my mind. I feel life is so fragile, life is so sudden. I feel I will just leave the world anytime, leaving this world with regrets and things I've not done and places I've not been to.

Sometimes I feel life is just something that you have to grab it. We need to cherish things around.

It has been 2 months since I've updated again.

Life has been slow and painful.

So many things happened, be it pleasant or non pleasant.

During the end of July, I went to Japan yet again ! But this time its a unplanned trip. Just suddenly feel like going as my frenz are going and I just joined in together with them.

It was totally an unplanned trip for me as I only just went Japan during April and there was actually no purpose to go Japan again except to spend money and waste money.

But this time round I took Scoot Airways which is like the budget flight for Singapore. As its a budget flight, the airtix only cost me $400 for 2 way ticket.As I'm taking Budget Airlines for the first time, so I did not know of all the restrictions for budget airlines.

Basically anything except for the  air ticket will require you to pay more money. Yes, including pillows and blanket. Not to mention food, drinks and luggage space.

But for a first time, Scoot is actually quite comfortable as their seats have adequete legspace so that you can stretch your legs quite straight when u wanna rest or sleep. But the down thing is we need tp transit at Taipei for one hour which means we'll waste an hour.

This time round I followed 2 frenz to Japan. Both went on different purpose. One of them went because he is going there to attend 2 videogame concerts which he loved and the other went to Japan because it was his virgin trip there and so I decided that we can go together as I've went there before and we can just walk around casually.

But this time round, I went at a wrong timing, wrong season. It was during summer, the weather is just too god damm hot seriously !

During daytime, the weather can easily hit like 40 degree which is really wtf but nighttime its really kinda cooling at maybe 20+ degree which is comfortable.

As its an OTOT trip for me, so I do not have to rush around and meet schedules like what time to what place.

This time round I experienced the biggest firework festival of my life.

The Sumida Fireworks Festival.

Its a festival that they will put fireworks for 90mins ! OMG 90mins ! Imagine the amount of money and manpower needed for a fucking 90mins of fireworks.

But the fireworks were really very beautiful ! And as it happened around Asakusa which I can go over to the famous Asakusa Temple and walk around looking at cute girls and feel their festive atmosphere.

Seems like I need to stop here as I'm working part time now and I'll have to go back to work.

Its been a long time since I've updated, pretty lazy to write out stuffs so I think I'll just post photos this time round.
