The bizarre behaviour of many Singaporeans
44 years of economic and material success have spawned some very strange
behaviors among Singaporeans. We spent so much to buy a house or flat,
furnished it up like a palace, but spent our time outside, most of the time
at work. And the maids are the ones enjoying the million dollar or multi
million dollar assets.
Then we pay so much, the highest in the world, for a car only to park at
home. Too expensive to drive, too many ERPs and car park charges to pay. And
we are encouraged to park the car at home and take public transport, cheaper
and more convenient.
And when Singaporeans travel, instead of seeing the places, they went
shopping. The best part is that they would head for the cheapest bargains,
buying stuff that they could get in Chinatown or pasar malam, at even
cheaper prices. And they are happy that they got a bargain.
And while the heartlanders are busy trying to make a life here, being told
to bust off if they are not happy, which they could not, the rich and
presumably very happy and contented citizens are buying up properties
overseas just in case they need to make that escape from paradise.
While many Singaporeans are thinking of jumping ship, or preparing to jump
ship, hoards of new immigrants are rushing in to take their place in this
paradise..
And to top it all up, they keep complaining about the govt and all the
policies that they found unpalatable, come every election, they will vote
and return the govt to power.

My God ! It's Already The 24th Of August Liao ! One More Week And I'm Gonna Be 26 Liao. Wah Lau, So Fast Sia.
A Quarter Of A Century That I've Survived In This World Liao. Duno How Long More Is There Gonna Be Man. How Many More Birthdays Do I Get To Celebrate Man. Anyway It's Just 26, Still More To Go, I Hope.
Although I Know Birthday Is Something That We Should Be Happy And Celebrate, But When You're Celebrating Your Birthday, You Actually Find Out That You're One Year Older Den Your Original Age. MY GOD ! Growing Old !
Everytime The Elders Will Say Like " You Now One Year Older Liao, Must Learn To Be More Sensible, Must Be Responsible To Things You Have Done " And All Sorts Of Nonsense.
Although All These Doesn't Really Happen To Me But The Elders Should Know That Growing Old Doesn't Mean Growing Up What. Some People Grows Old Without Growing Up Because Time Makes A Person Grow Old But Time Doesn't Make A Person Grow Up.
A Person Will Only Grow Up Through Experience. It's Like You Always See On TV Those Rich Kids Doesn't Grow Up In Their Thinking Because Everything In Their Life Is Just Too Smooth For Them. It's Like Playing Role-Playing Games, People Gain Experience Through Hardship, And Only Through Hardship Will People Grow Up.

I Was Talking About Celebrating My Birthday And This Is Giving Me A Headache. Although I Dun Have Much Frenz But I Still Have A Standard Amount Of Good Frenz That I Cannot Forget Also, And Organising For A Celebration Is Seriously A Chore.
I Need To Split My Frenz To A Few Groups Because They Are From Different Times Of My Life, Like ITE, CMPB And Working.
The CMPB Group I'm Still Deciding Whether Wanna Celebrate With Them Or Not Coz 2 Of Them Are Busy With Their Wedding Arrangements. Yup, It's 2 Of Them. One On The 24th of September And The Other On 18th Of October. Sianz Sia, All Getting Married. So This Group Is Still Pending.
The Working Group Also Quite Difficult To Arrange Because The Bosses Are Busy With Their Marriage Things Also. YES, You're Right. It's WEDDING ARRANGEMENTS Again, And This One Is On The 5th Of October. My God, So Many Wedding Dinners To Attend, So Many Ang Baos To Give. And One Of My Colleagues Is Attending Part-Time Night Classes So It's Like Super Difficult To Arrange A Timing That All Of Them Are Available For Dinner.
Not To Forget The Small Group Of Jason And Philip. But That One Easy Lah, Maybe Go Some Kopitiam ChitChat And Drink Beer Can Liao. =D
And The Final Group Is The ITE Group Which Is The Most Difficult And Most Pissed Off When Arranging With Them.
At First I Decided On 31st August To Celebrate With Them As We Can Go For Dinner. Den Lionel Say He Dun Wanna Stay Too Late Because Next Day Got Work, Bingsheng Say He Also Cannot Stay Too Late Coz He's having His Poly tests Or Exam, Den Johnston Is The Standard Guy To Be Late When We Meet Up So In The End Wait Here Wait There Sure Cannot.
So In The End I Decided To Change To The 29th Of August.
Den In The End 29th August Also Cannot. This Date Lagi Worse. Bingsheng And Weihao Say They Need To Work On The 29th And Their Jobs Is Those From Night Till Morning One. Den Lionel Say He Cannot Stay Late Because The Next Day He Needs To Go For RT Cover In The Morning, Den Johnston Is The Only One To Be Available.
So I Decided To Ask Them What's The Best Solution For It. Bingsheng, Weihao And Lionel Suggested Pushing It One Week Back To The 5th Of September Would Be A Good Day Because It Gives Them Time To Arrange And Make Themselves Free On That Day, So I Considered.
Now Is The Time Which It Pisses Me Off.
Few Days Later I SMS All Of Them To Tell Them That I've Decided To Push It Back To The 5th Of September So All The 5 Of Us Can Celebrate Together And We Do Not Have To Rush Around Coz They Would Have Made Arrangements For Themselves Also.
Weihao Agreed With It And Then He Said He Will Push Away His Part-Time Job So That He Can Join In With Us To Go Out.
Lionel Also Agreed Because He Doesn't Have To Work On Weekends And His RT Cover Would Have Finished By That Week So He's Definitely Ok With It.
Johnston Also Said Ok But I Know He's A Person Full Of It. Anything Can Happen Anytime Last Minute So We'll See How For Him.
The Super Pisses Me Off One Is Bingsheng. When I Set It On The 31st He Say He Having Exams. Den When I Changed It To The 29th He Say He's Working He Cannot Go. AND He Is The One Who Suggested That I Change To The 5th Of September So That Everybody Can Go.

My God !
Finally I've Finished Watching The Highly Rated HongKong Drama " E.U ".
For People Who Didn't Know, " E.U " Is The 3rd Installment Of The Police Training School Series Which Consists Of " The Academy, 學警雄心 " As The First Part, " On The First Beat, 學警出更 " As The 2nd Part And Now " E.U , 學警狙擊 " .
My God ! It's Like Super Nice Lah ! My Frenz They All Recommended Me To Watch Because I Did Watch The First 2 Parts. Den My Frenz Say That I Should Watch The 3rd One Since I Got Watch The Previous Ones And All Of Them Say This 3rd One Is Hell Alot Better Den The Previous 2.
So I Decided To Watch It And It's Damm Good Lah ! It Didn't Disappoint Me Even A Small Bit. The Only Draggy Part Is The Romance Part Because Some Of The Parts Is Really Quite Boring. But Still A Great Show From TVB.
These Few Days I'm Like Sucks Lah. Last Week I've Fallen Sick With Everything Hitting Me. Fever, Cough, Flu, SoreThroat And There's An Infection On My Arm Which I Think Is The Main Cause Of All These. Sianz Lah, Coz It's Giving Me The Constant Headache And I'm Quite Dependant On Panadol For The Past Week.

Not A Good Week
As My Title Has Said, The Past Week Is Not A Very Good Week. A Week That Both Of My Frenz Had To Suffer Emotionally. I Think The Only Good Thing That Happened To Me Is That I Finally Got Hold Of My " The King Of Fighters XII " Game And Got To Play It.
On Wednesday Morning, I Received A SMS From CSY Saying That Her Grandma Had Passed Away. I Knew From Her Blog That Her Grandma Had Been Ill-ed And Needs To Stay In The Hospital For Quite A Period Already.
It's A Long War For Her Grandma And In The End The War Cannot Be Dragged Any Longer, Her Grandma Had Lost The War. Although I've Never Seen Her Grandma But I Know The Feeling Of Losing A Loved One, And I'm Sure Her Grandma Does Mean Alot To Her. I Do Believe So.

On Friday Morning, I Received A SMS In The Morning Which Was From My Fren Which Says That ACYQ Dad Had Passed Away. Also Losing A Battle To Illness. When I Received This SMS, I Was Not Very Shocked But I Was Thinking Like " Oh No. One Week And Two Went Off. Such An Unlucky Week ".
But I Know This One Cannot Be Avoided, It's Expected By My Fren Already But I Dun Think He Expected It To Happen So Soon. But He Accepted It. Such A Poor Boy.
