Disgraceful Singaporeans

Today I Was Reading The Newspaper And There Was A News Report Criticising Singaporeans. Here's The News Report.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
An Elderly Woman, 60, Collapses In A Crowded Shopping Centre. She Is Seriously Ill And Needs To Get To The Hospital Urgently. Paramedics Rush To The Scene, Place Her On A Stretcher, And Gets Into A Lift To Take Her Downstairs To The Ambulance. But To The Horror Of The Anxious Family Members, Some Shoppers Refuse To Give Way. Instead, They Decide To Squeeze Into The Lift.

That's Not All. They Then Press The Buttons For All The Other Floors Where They Want To Get Off. That's What Singapore Civil Defence Force ( SCDF ) Paramedic Carolyn Low, 28, Encountered Recently At An Orchard Road Shopping Centre When Trying To Transport An Unconscious Cancer Victim Down The 5th Storey.

She Said :" The Lift Ended Up Stopping At Every Floor. One Of The Relatives Was So Upset, She Shouted At Everyone In The Lift. "

The Incident Highlights A New Breed Of Inconsiderate People Who Think Nothing Of Blocking The Work Of Rescue Personnel Despite Years Of Public Education. As SCDF Personnel Attend To more Emergency Cases In Highrise Buildings, They Recall Having Brushes With A New Breed Of Ugly Singaporeans : The Lift Hoggers.

While The SCDF Says That Most Singaporeans Are Helpful And Considerate Towards Emergency Personnel, Some Are Just Too Selfish And Insensitive. Given Te Serious Consequences That Could Arise From A Lift Hog's Actions, Even One Delay Could Be One Delay Too Many.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wah Lau Eh, Nowadays The Singaporeans Really Sibei Jialat Leh. Chao Chee Bye, A Life Is At Stake And Those MotherFuckers Still Can Take The Lift And Press All The Floors Somemore. What If The Auntie Died In The Lift, Who The Fuck Should Be Held Responsible. Nabei Chee Bye, Really Damm Knn. I'm So Ashamed To Be A Singaporean.

Singaporeans Is Forever Alot Of People Watching Show When Something Happens, But People Who Helps Are Really Some Rare Breeds.

Dun See Me Everytime Complain Complain. If I'm Inside The Lift I'll Definitely Help.

If I'm The Relative Seriously I Dunno What I'll Do. Maybe I'll Shout At Them Also But I Doubt It Will Help. Kinda Disgrace Being A Singaporean.

You See The Number Of Peoples Siam Those People Asking For Donations On The Street. Those Students Everytime Carrying A Can One. I Everytime Donate To Them One. But Majority Of People Just Avoid Them.

Any Amount Helps What. Even 10cents Also Helps. Bad Upbringing Of Singaporeans.

donation cans by students still ok. it's those that ask you to buy coupon/ticket that are very dubious. dunno wat organisation they doing for also.
some of them even get commission! you can see people advertise for hiring such people in the papers.

but singaporeans i think only think that helping less fortunate = donate money. dunno that it means even more to physically help others. time wins money.

Well, this kinda shitty thing is not the first that SSG Carolyn met.

Once, she & her crew was attending to a case, the went to the location and the dude did not want to go to hosp.

What happen? if you could guess it,

The dude Punched the Medical Orderly (Driver) & SSG Carolyn...Thank god Medic was ard to stop the guy...

Well, despite of being punched, blue-blacked, and bleeding at times, SSG Carolyn can be found at Central Fire Station (Hill St) attending to Ambulance Calls.

If you go to Central Fire Station and you managed to see her, do remember that she was one of the Paramedic who endured pain in some cases to help Us - SINGAPOREANS

Not to forget the SCDF has alot of UNSUNG HEROS, pls, give way when u see them, u'll never know if next time u need their help!
