Italy 3 - 0 Ukraine

The Biggest Scoreline Of The 4 Matches. Italy Made it To The Quarter-Finals Due To Some Help From The Referee And The Scorer Francesco Totti During The Italy Australia Match. Italy Started Off Very Well As Gianluca Zambrotta Scored In The 6th Minute, The Azzuri Are Damm On-Form. Their Attacking Prowess Has Never Been So Good. The New StrikeForce Of Alberto Gilardino And Luca Toni Has Proved To Be One Of The Best StrikeForce Of The Tournament.

During The 2nd Half, Italy Is Still Attacking And Ukraine Are Still Paddling Back And Defend With Everything They Have. But They Are Unable To Defend Against The Mighty Italians. Their Counter Attack Is One Of The Best In The Tournament. Luca Toni Scored 2 Goals Is 10 Minutes Which Sealed The Win For The Azzurri. They Will Face Host Nation Germany In The Semi-Finals.

England 0 - 0 Portugal [ Portugal Win On Penalties ]

England Has Been Tipped As The Favourites To Win This Match. England Is Already Tipped To Win The World Cup Due To Their Unbelivable Popularity. They Started With A Defensive 4-5-1 With Germany Based Player Owen Hargreaves Playing As The Midfield Anchorman. Michael Carrick is Being Dropped For This Position As He's Unable To Shine At This Position. This Game Is Quite A Balanced Match Which Both Sides Have Their Share Of Attacking And Defending. As Usual, Steven Gerrard And Frank Lampard Are Still Unable To Click At The Centre Of Midfield Together. The Spark Is Never Seen Between Both Of Them.

During The 2nd Half, Their Influential Captain David Beckham Has Been Subbed Due To Injury Which Means This Will Be The Last Game He'll be Playing For The World Cup. After Awhile Of The Match, England's Wonderboy Has Done The Most Stupid Thing Ever. He Stepped On The Groin Of Ricardo Carvalho And Pushed His Man Utd TeamMate Cristiano Ronaldo Which Lead To His Sending Off. Down To 10 Men, England Can Only Defend Until Penalty. StarPlayers Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard And Jamie Carragher Missed Their Penalty Which Lead To Their Defeat At The World Cup Again.

Brazil 0 - 1 France

Brazil Started Off With A Defensive 4-3-3 Formation Instead of Their Regular 4-2-4 Formation. They Decided To Rest Inter's Emperor Adriano And Used Gilberto Silva And Juninho As Their Centre Midfield Instead of Emerson. They Started Off Well Against The Disappointing France. The Match Is A Very Fast Paced Match. No Mistakes Are Allowed In The Match, Any Mistake Will Lead To Defeat. That Is What Happened To World Champions Brazil.

Their Ageing Defender Roberto Carlos Was Attacking Too Much Which Made Him Unable To Track Back Fast Enough Which Allowed Theirry Henry To Finish The Counter Attack And Score The Only Goal Of The Match. But After That, France Switched To A Defensive Play Which Doesn't Allow Brazil To Attack As Swiftly As They Did Everytime. Ronaldinho And Kaka Are Unable To Break Up Their Defence With Their Killer Passes Which In The End Gave The Semi-Final Place To France. This Will Pit France Against Portugal In The Semi-Finals.
